Victor Nikiforov is a five-time world champion figure skater, a living legend based out of St. Petersburg, Russia. Known for his spectacular jumps (particularly his signature move, the quadruple flip), his choreography, his record shattering performances, and his artistic expression, he has won every major competition in the skating world for nearly a decade, and is widely considered the greatest skater in the world.

Until he abruptly gives it all up to arrive in Hasetsu, Kyushu Province, Japan, and offer himself as a coach to one Katsuki Yuri, a dime-a-dozen figure skater certified by the JSF, for apparently no reason.
